Kelly Rowland is cooking up new music, and she has assembled an Avengers-like lineup of R&B hitmakers to assist her cause.

Bryan-Michael Cox is one of the elite names in the mix, and he was full of excitement about the project when speaking with That Grape Juice at the BET Awards 2026.

Speaking exclusively with TGJ at the Los Angeles ceremony, the producer opened up about working with the GRAMMY winner alongside The-Dream and Jermaine Dupri.

Discussing the studio sessions, Cox shared…

“Me and Jermaine are producing Kelly Rowland.

Kelly is someone I’ve known all my life. We came up together. We grew up together in Houston. So, it’s an honor to work with her in this capacity because we’ve been friends for so long.

I’ve always rooted for Kelly. I’ve always thought Kelly was a phenomenal singer, a great performer, and she has brilliant ideas as a songwriter.”

He continued, making clear that he feels there is still more for the world to see from the Destiny’s Child alum:

“I don’t think the public has fully seen the full picture of the immense talent that she is. I grew up with them, so I know what Matthew instilled in them. I know how hard they worked.

I’m just happy to work with her in this capacity and very, very excited to see that work coming to fruition. She’s so smart. She’s a brilliant artist. So, I think that the world is going to be able to see that in this capacity.”

And it appears fans may not have to wait too long to hear the results.

“Me, Jermaine, and Dream have a few records on the album, and I feel like one of those might be the single.

We got some joints, though. I’m excited. We got some joints. It’s crazy. Hopefully, they’re getting the business done and we’ll have something soon. We got the music. I think the music is on point.”
