Zaire Wade‘s ongoing felony domestic violence case took another turn this week following new revelations during a California court hearing.

According to TMZ, prosecutors alleged that investigators recovered an unregistered firearm from Wade’s Burbank residence after responding to the reported domestic violence incident last month.

At this stage, the weapon has not led to any additional charges.

The eldest son of NBA’s Dwayne Wade pleaded not guilty to the felony domestic violence charge. The court also issued a protective order requiring Wade to stay away from the alleged victim and surrender any firearms while proceedings continue.

Wade was arrested in June after police reportedly found a woman with multiple facial injuries at the scene. He remains free on bond as the case heads toward preliminary hearing scheduled for September 24.

At present, neither Wade nor his family has publicly addressed the allegations
