Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the multi-hyphenated star shared:

“We’re working on it right now. I know everybody’s been saying that for forever, but I swear to you, I’m not lying about this. I really think that something is gonna happen soon.”

The project, first confirmed by Peacock, has been in development for years, following the show’s six-season run between 2009 and 2015. Creator Dan Harmon has penned the script alongside Andrew Guest, with several original cast members, including Joel McHale, Alison Brie, and Ken Jeong, set to return.

While delays have slowed momentum, the vision of a movie appears closer than ever to becoming reality.
