The Grammy winner publicly condemned the move after footage showing ICE officers detaining alleged undocumented migrants was paired with her track alongside messaging praising President Donald Trump’s border policies.
Grande quickly voiced her displeasure, commenting:
“Please do not use my music in relation to this barbaric, inhumane, heinous nonsense.”
Although the administration later removed the audio, officials pushed back against her criticism.
The pop superstar now joins a growing list of artists, including Beyoncé, Sabrina Carpenter, and SZA, who have publicly opposed the use of their music in political messaging they do not support.
