Danity Kane are no strangers to chaos, and a fresh coat has been painted onto their story today. And it all centers on a booking some members were privvy to, and others were…not.

As reported, the beloved R&B-Pop ensemble regrouped for another reunion run. This time, with a member lineup comprised of Aubrey O’Day, Aundrea Fimbres, and D. Woods. The latter of whom has not been in the group since its initial lineup disbanded in 2008.

And while all seemed to be well, fresh division has arisen over what is being deemed “false advertising.”

See, DK was being advertised at an LA Block Party on June 20.

However, the band’s official page (which wasn’t tagged on the social media post) says it’s not all it’s being touted as to be.

The official Danity Kane page responded and did not hold back. The full statement read:

“To clarify – a recent flyer promoting “Danity Kane” performing on June 20th is not a full group performance.
Only two members independently booked this appearance. Dawn Richard, Aubrey O’Day, and Shannon Bex were neither informed nor will be in attendance.

This promotion constitutes false advertising and a misleading promotion, creating a false impression of full group participation. Presenting a two-member lineup under the full Danity Kane name without clear and accurate disclosure results in deception of fans and a clear misrepresentation of what is being offered.
We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.”
