The murder case against D4vd has taken another explosive turn.

Text messages presented in court indicate that Celeste Rivas Hernandez became pregnant with the singer’s child and underwent an abortion more than a year before prosecutors allege he killed her.

According to the Associated Press, the January 2024 exchange was recovered from D4vd’s iCloud account and shown during his ongoing preliminary hearing.

The embattled performer, whose legal name is David Burke, reportedly apologized for “putting her through this” before asking whether the baby was his.

“Of course it’s yours,” Rivas Hernandez replied.

Prosecutors allege that Burke began sexually abusing the teenager when she was 13 and he was 18. They claim he later stabbed and dismembered her after she threatened to expose their relationship and jeopardize his rapidly rising career.

Graphic photographs and further messages documenting the pair’s relationship were also displayed. Rivas Hernandez’s mother reportedly began crying, while her father looked down before both left the courtroom.

The hearing will determine whether there is sufficient evidence for the case to proceed to trial.

As reported, D4vd has pleaded not guilty to murder, child sexual abuse, and mutilation of a body. His attorneys maintain that he is innocent.
