Chris Tucker is opening up about a deeply personal chapter of his life.

The comedian and actor surprised fans during a recent stand-up set in Las Vegas when he revealed that he has been celibate for more than three years and is now focused on finding lasting love.

According to attendees at Tucker’s show at The Wynn, the ‘Rush Hour’ star candidly discussed his dating life while on stage and shared that he’s holding out for marriage.

Per TMZ, Tucker said:

“Well, I’m celibate. I’ve been celibate for 3 years, but I’m really trying to get married. I give it to the love this time.”

The 54-year-old reportedly stressed that he was being serious, joking that many people struggle to believe him.

“I’m serious. No one believes me.”

Tucker even poked fun at his family’s reaction to the revelation, saying his niece remains skeptical.

“She believes in aliens, but she don’t believe I did that.”

The funnyman also joked about some of the responses he’s received from women after sharing his celibacy journey.

“She said, ‘How much? How much … how much is it?’ I’m not selling it. I’m celibate! What is wrong with you people?”

Elsewhere during the set, Tucker reportedly mined laughs from the audience by joking that loneliness had him flirting with Siri and Alexa.

The revelation comes as the actor continues to tease a potential return to the big screen with the long-discussed fourth installment of the beloved ‘Rush Hour’ franchise.
