With a whopping 119 entries to his credit, Chris Brown owned the title of being the most-decorated male vocalist in Hot 100 history for years.
This week, however, he found himself moved to second place in Billboard record books thanks to a surprise return from his industry pal and fellow music sensation Justin Bieber.
Although Bieber’s comeback album – the July 11-released ‘Swag‘ – was defeated for the Billboard 200 championship by Travis Scott‘s ‘Jackboys 2,’ the Pop heartthrob was undoubtedly crowned King of this week’s Hot 100.
Taking up nearly 20% of the week’s frames by his lonesome, Justin planted a whopping 16 titles on the updated all-genre tally including the #2 smash ‘Daisies‘ (as we reported here).
That opening extended his reign for most top 10 debuts among male singers (17). When all vocalists are considered, only Taylor Swift (48) has had more top 10 debuts over her career.
Check out where all the songs from ‘Swag’ landed on this week’s Hot 100.
No. 2, ‘Daisies’
No. 17, ‘Yukon’
No. 18, ‘Go Baby’
No. 21, ‘All I Can Take’
No. 33, ‘Way It Is,’ with Gunna
No. 35, ‘Things You Do’

The new songs bring his cumulative Hot 100 placements to 121 – the most of any male vocalist in the 66-year history of the chart.
Among all artists, only Drake (359), Taylor Swift (264), Future (223), Lil Wayne (194), Kanye West (161), Lil Baby (156), Nicki Minaj (149), and Travis Scott (131) have more.
