Over 10 years after making Billboard history with the debut of his breakthrough mixtape ‘Coloring Book,’ GRAMMY-winning emcee Chance the Rapper is undoubtedly looking to be printed in box office history books as well with the project’s forthcoming commemorative tour.

The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) recently took to press to announce ‘Coloring Book’ crossed the organization’s threshold for Platinum certification a decade after its 2016 release. At writing, ‘Book’ is his only body of work to be certified.

For context, “Platinum” refers to sales equivalence of 1 million units in the United States.

The news comes just weeks after the rapper took to social media to announce he was toasting the project’s milestone birthday with a North American trek.

Promoted by Live Nation, ‘The Coloring Book 10 Year Anniversary Tour’ is slated to launch in Cleveland, Ohio, on August 11 ahead of making stops in major markets like Toronto, New York, Boston, Nashville, Montreal, Atlanta, Phoenix, Houston, Seattle, and more before wrapping up in Pittsburgh on October 11.
