Celine Dion Returns to the Stage in Paris After Six Years / Full Setlist

Celine Dion has fulfilled the promise she made to fans, returning to the concert stage in Paris for her first full show in more than six years.

The 58-year-old icon was overcome with emotion just moments into opening night at the Plenitude Arena, where tens of thousands welcomed her back following a health battle that once left her performing future uncertain.

Opening the show with ‘On ne change pas,’ Dion fought back tears before addressing the sold-out crowd.

She said:

“I made a promise to come back and to be back on stage. Here I am singing for you, and singing for me.”

The powerful moment marked Dion’s first full concert since March 2020. She stepped away from touring after being diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome, a rare neurological disorder that can cause severe muscle stiffness and spasms.

Of course, the superstar has steadily been rebuilding toward this moment. She memorably opened up about her intensive road back to the stage last month, while her stunning 2024 Paris Olympics performance signaled that her powerhouse voice was very much intact.

Demand for the Paris engagement has been seismic. As reported, the run was expanded to 26 concerts, comprising 16 shows this fall and another 10 in May 2027.

And Celine came armed with a mammoth career-spanning setlist.

Alongside classics such as ‘The Power of Love,’ ‘Because You Loved Me,’ ‘It’s All Coming Back to Me Now,’ and ‘My Heart Will Go On,’ the songbird performed French favorites and newer material, including the live debut of ‘Dansons.’
