Cardi B is making it clear that the latest wave of chatter around her love life is wearing thin.

After her recent outings with Nigerian soccer star Maduka Okoye ignited romance rumors and a fresh burst of online drama, the rapper has seemingly responded to the scrutiny that follows almost every public connection she makes.

In audio shared by The Neighborhood Talk, Cardi reflected on how quickly speculation can spiral whenever she is seen with someone.

“Y’all see what happens as soon as I sneeze on somebody?”

The 33-year-old stopped short of naming Okoye or his former partner, Jelicia Westhoff. However, she said she has faced “lies and bulls**t” about the people she dates since she was 20 and suggested that anyone with an ex can bring a new cycle of public claims.

As previously reported, Westhoff accused Okoye of being unfaithful with both men and women after pictures of him with Cardi surfaced. The allegations have not been independently verified, and Okoye has not publicly addressed them.

Never one to miss the chance for a punchline, Cardi joked that she may “rage bait” the internet next by stepping out with her cousin.

Neither Cardi nor Okoye has publicly confirmed that they are dating. But it doesn’t look like they’re shying away from the public discourse either.
