Billboard 200: Clipse Match Career-Best Debut with ‘Let God Sort Em Out’ Amid Travis Scott Feud

Clipse are back and blazing on the Billboard 200.

Brothers Pusha T and Malice returned to the scene with ‘Let God Sort Em Out’ – their first album in almost sixteen years.

Already one of the year’s most eagerly awaited Hip-Hop offerings, the set was further thrust into the cultural conversation as the duo traded lyrical jabs with Travis Scott.

Indeed, Clipse delivered choice words for Scott on the song ‘So Be It,’ with La Flame returning serve on his LP.

Per the group, the drama stems from an incident that saw Scott play a song for Clipse, yet notably omitted Drake‘s verse, which included a diss towards their longtime collaborator Pharrell Williams.

And while Scott emerged victorious in what many saw as a three-way chart battle (with Justin Bieber’s ‘SWAG’ too), the rapping siblings also have cause for a celebration of their own.

In launching at #4 on the Billboard 200, Clipse matched their career-best peak on the tally.

The pair’s 2002 debut, ‘Lord Willin,’ also premiered in the same spot.

Interestingly, despite the 22-year gap, the sales of their latest effort (118,000) soared close to their first (122,000).

A testament, no doubt, to the Clipse’s enduring reverence.
