With only a few days notice, 21 Savage stunned his fans with the December 12 delivery of his fourth album, ‘What Happened to the Streets?’

If industry analyst prediction is to be believed, however, the move may not have been the most lucrative as the LP’s on pace to deliver his lowest first-week sales yet (among his studio projects).

21 Savage’s ‘What Happened to the Streets?’ 

Predicted First-Week Sales (SPS):  53,000 units

Predicted Billboard 200 Debut:  #6-#9

Savage’s ‘Streets’ is forecasted to cruise to opening sales slightly north of 53,000 total units, guaranteeing a debut in the bottom half of the top 10 of next week’s Billboard 200.

If the prediction rings true, the sum – which follows 2017’s ‘Issa Album’ (77,000 sold first week), 2018’s ‘I Am > I Was’ (131,000 sold first week), and 2024’s ‘American Dream‘ (133,000 sold first week) – will mark the lowest premiere figure attached to any of the rapper’s solo albums.

What’s more, the potential #7 debut on the Billboard 200 will also mark the lowest inaugural positioning any of his LPs has opened to following the #2, #1, and #1 debuts of ‘Issa,’ ‘I Am,’ and ‘Dream’ respectively.
