B2K and Pretty Ricky are set to take fans on a trip back to the 2000s with a newly announced VERZUZ battle.

The R&B groups, both of whom helped soundtrack a defining era for boy bands and slow jams, will go hit-for-hit in a matchup that has been floated by fans for years.

The battle is being billed as one for the ‘You Got Served’ generation, pairing the stars of the 2004 dance film against the Miami-bred group behind bedroom R&B bops such as ‘Your Body’ and debut offering ‘Grind On Me.’

B2K’s arsenal includes hits such as ‘Bump, Bump, Bump,’ ‘Uh Huh,’ and ‘Girlfriend.’

The showdown also arrives as both acts continue to benefit from renewed nostalgia around early 2000s R&B, with tours and throwback moments keeping the era front and center for longtime listeners.
